12 students currently participate in this program; 6 will graduate in May 2011, creating opportunities for additional students to join the program. GWU is a NSA-certified Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education and Research.
Eligibility requirements:
minimum GPA: 3.0 undergraduate OR 3.2 graduate (must maintain during scholarship)
United States citizen, 18 or older, full-time student (rising junior or higher) or applied for or accepted for full-time enrollment at GW with an undergraduate or graduate major in one of the following areas: Mathematics, Biometrics, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Programming, Computer Support, Data Base Administration, Computer Systems Analysis, Operations Research, Information Security (Assurance), Forensic Science, Business Management, Business Administration, Public Policy, Public Administration, or another area related to computer security and information assurance
